Charlie the Christmas Snake
Charlie was a snake. he was little and green and he loved Christmas. He liked to wiggle around the base of a tree and listen to the children sing carols and watch them eat cookies. he always hid himself of course, why? because he was a snake and he knew that he might scare them, and he didn't want to do that. He always had wanted a Santa hat and wondered how he could get one. Every year, he would sigh and then cry because he wanted to wear a hat just like Santa! he was hiding one day when someone cut down the tree that he hid in, next door to the McKensey home. He was scared. He slithered up into the branches and wondered what he would do. If I am seen, they might get really scared and I would ruin Christmas and i just can[t do that. No one saw Charlie. But suddenly he was very very happy. the tree that he was hiding in was taken inside the McKensey house. Balls of blue, red, green, silver and gold were placed on the tree. An angel was placed on the top; now, instead of viewing everything from the outside like he had always done, he was on the inside and he was very excited. The singing sounded better; the carols were grand; the cookies you could smell them now, and not just see them being eaten from a distance. Charlie could hardly contain himself; and then the McKensey family went to bed, and there on a plate were fresh homemade Christmas cookies. Charlie said to himself, "Maybe Santa won't miss just one " so he wiggled down the tree and started nibbling at one. He was so busy finishing it off that he didn't hear the soft crunch of boots behind him. "So, little one, I see you are enjoying my cookies" Charlie froze. He looked around, and it was Santa Claus! "I'm sorry that I ate one, Sir" ""that's okay, my suit has been fitting me a little tight anyway." Charlie got off the plate and was ready to leave when Santa sat down and took off his hat; he cut a corner here, and then cut a corner there, and when he was done, it was a snake-size Santa hat; and said to Charlie "Christmas isn't just for humans you know; its also for creatures out in the snow. I've known for a long time that you wanted this hat; but you would always leave and I never knew where to leave it; now, here it is and Merry Christmas." Santa opened the door, and out Charlie slithered, deliriously happy with his Santa hat; he went to his home and settled down for a sleep ; and it was the best Christmas ever, for Charlie the Christmas snake.

A Christmas Poem
I like Christmas because I get lots of presents. I want to see Santa at night. My brother might fight him. That's why I like Christmas at night. That's right.
From Andja

Christmas Eve
One night Santa's reindeer was sick. Santa's elves tried to help Rudolph but they couldn't help Rudolph. Santa said, "You must go to Miss Weed". The elves said to Santa, "We can't go". Santa said to his elves to look after Rudolph. Santa said, "I'm going to Miss Weed. Bye bye". Santa could go there safely. He also came back safely and gave the tablet to Rudolph. Rudolph felt much better.
From Monica

Jesus' birthday
People celebrate Jesus' birthday. They get presents at Christmas. I get presents at the end of church in the night, then I play outside. Once my brother got bubble gum in his hair so he had a hair cut nearly bald.
From Andrew

Mummy with Santa Claus
One day Mum saw Santa Claus and then Mum helped Santa Claus with the presents. Mum gave the presents to the children under the Christmas tree. They were so excited as soon as they opened their presents. Merry Christmas
From Charlotte

All About my Christmas
Because I'm a bit Chinese on Christmas Eve I get out my lantern sticks and my lanterns and I burn the candles in the middle of the lantern. I put the lantern on the stick and hang the lantern on the walls. Sometimes I go to the Chinese restaurant. They put on a show of what happened on the first Chinese day of Christmas. When it is Christmas Day I run out of bed and start opening my presents. To wake up early, I put on my digital clock. For my presents I got a Virtual Pikachu, a bubble gum machine and a row of stickers.

From Clare

On the Day of Christmas
On the day of Christmas we all get presents. This year I want to get Pokemon cards and Pokemon pinball. But one thing I really want is a Beast Wars game. My brother and I want rollerblades.

Santa's Song

Christmas Day
On Christmas Day Billy was so excited that he fell out of bed. He said, "Ow! That hurt". He felt his head. There was a bump on it. He said, "How could it happen on Christmas Day?" He went downstairs. He looked under the Christmas tree. He didn't see one with his name on it. "Oh! Where is it? I don't know. I think Santa didn't come this year." He went closer. It was behind the tree. "There it was!" He said, "Oh! It's there."

The Night Before Christmas
Santa Claus is coming tonight. There will be a lot of mist. You better write your list. My Christmas tree is up with lots of decorations. There are lights on the tree. There is a star on the tree. My Mum was surprised because she saw Santa Claus. She jumped up and down and she hurt her head. Santa Claus made it better.
From Michele Q.

A Story of Christmas Day
On Christmas Day we all get presents. Most people get up early in the morning to open their presents because they are extremely excited about Santa coming to their house. Most people believe in Santa. I wonder how Santa gets in people's houses that don't have a chimney.
From Michelle C.

A Fairy with Santa Claus
One day there was a fairy. She loved girls and she doesn't like boys. Then she saw a tree and she saw Santa as well. She asked Santa if he could live with her and Santa said yes. They lived happily ever after.

Jingle Bells All the Way
It's Christmas Eve and bells are ringing in my head and I have to go to bed. So I can go downstairs and find my presents. I got an electric car and other stuff. I had a good day. I went to my aunty's. I got another present. It was a teddy.
From Sean

Santa's Christmas
It was Christmas Eve in town. Everyone was buying things everyday, necklaces, dolls, cars. But when they got home they wrapped as hard as they could because they will wake up early. They hung up lanterns. But on Christmas Day there were no presents to open that day so they had a bad day. So next year they had a good day.
