A VOLCANIC FEAST: On August 24, A.D.79, Vesuvius Volcano suddenly exploded and destroyed the Roman cities of Pompeii, Stabiae and Herculaneum. While it was erupting, in true Roman fashion, some of the citizens of Pompeii indulged themselves in what was to be their last feast!!

The children came dressed in their best Roman attire.

Realistic looking weapons and blood completed the scene.

Wonder whose beds were missing sheets that night!!

Some light entertainment and then it was time for the feast.

The food was authentic Roman fare. A sword fight breaks out in the background!!

The Roman maidens danced for the crowd.

Here's the whole class - don't they look great!!
