Comments: I love this site. I'm a 5th grade teacher too! I've been searching for a beginning of the year theme. When Pirates of the Caribbean, Dead Man's Chest was such a hit this weekend, I suddenly thought of Pirates-Exploration. That's exactly where we begin in U.S. History.
