were very famous. One example was Cheng I Soa (Ching Yih Saou) who was a pirate queen from
China who led over 80,000 pirates!

Comments:  Hi--I'm a writer of adventure and mystery fiction for young readers. One of my
novels, Dragon's Plunder, was a pirate adventure, and two of the books I wrote about the Jack
Russell terrier Wishbone dealt with pirates--Salty Dog and The Treasure of Skeleton Reef.

With my cowriter Thomas E. Fuller, I've just written the first two books in a brand-new series
to come out in the fall from Aladdin Books. The series is Pirate Hunter, and I think folks who
